With the plug-and-play functionality of NMEA 2000, the IC-M506 can easily connect to a NMEA 2000 network and interconnect with other equipment. Also the NMEA 0183 input/output can be used for external GPS/NAV interface.

Last Call Voice Recording

The last call voice recording function automatically saves the last two minutes of the last incoming call. You can also start recording manually.

Active Noise Cancelling

The built-in bidirectional active noise cancelling reduces background noise to up to 90% and improves both your transmitted voice and incoming call.

25W Two-Way Hailer

When connected to an external hailer horn, you can talk to people on the deck or shore from the radio’s microphone and can hear people’s reply via the hailer horn. Foghorn and RX speaker functions are also available.

Optional COMMANDMIC™ HM-195B/SW

The optional COMMANDMIC, HM-195B/SW provides 2nd station capability for using the IC-M506 from a separate cabin or tower. Most functions including DSC and AIS functions can be controlled from the COMMANDMIC and can be used as an intercom between the IC-M506 and the COMMANDMIC.

Large LCD and Intuitive User Interface

The IC-M506 is equipped with 132×96 pixels dot-matrix display which is larger than the IC-M504 (132×64 pixels). Reading GPS, AIS, DSC and radio menus are easier than ever. The bottom line of the display shows the software key functions and the functions can be toggled with the left and right buttons.

Large LCD with dot matrix characters

You can easily read the alphanumeric name of any of the 1355 ITU channels at a glance with the large LCD display. Nighttime operation is no problem with 10 levels (plus OFF) adjustable backlit display and keypad.

Easy to use in all conditions

The IC-M802 offers two large dials – bank and channel – for easy channel selection. Up to 16 banks of 20 (max.) each for user channels, and 17 banks for ITU channels are available.

 The FA150 is a shipborne Universal AIS (Automatic Identification System) Transponder capable of exchanging navigation and ship data between own ship and other ships or coastal stations. The FA150 consists of a transponder unit and a compact display unit with 4.5" Silver Bright Display. The compact FA150 display is designed to accommodate a simple and space-saving installation with a user-friendly ergonomic design.
The transponder unit contains a VHF transmitter, two TDMA receivers on parallel VHF channels, a DSC channel 70 receiver, interface processor and internal GPS receiver. The GPS receiver is a 12-channel all-in-view receiver and has Differential capabilities (DGPS). The GPS receiver provides UTC reference and also provides position, COG and SOG in the event that a connected external GPS receiver fails.
The FA150 provides multiple interfaces for Radar, ECDIS and PC. The available Combo GPS/VHF antenna affords flexible, easy installation.

Class B AIS transponder
The MA-500TR is a Class B AIS transponder for Non-SOLAS vessels such as pleasure craft, work-boat and small vessels. Your vessels information will automatically be transmitted at fixed intervals or under base station control. The MA-500TR receives dual AIS channels (Ch. 87B and Ch. 88B) simultaneously and receives both Class A and Class B AIS information. Transmitted information by MA-500TR is:

The versatile AT-130 can be used with a variety of vessels, even smaller boats that cannot use a long antenna element. For example, the AT-130 will match a 7 m (23 feet) long wire antenna across the marine band in the 1.6 - 27.5 MHz range.
Automatic tuning
No manual tuning is needed. Just push the [TUNE] switch on an Icom HF marine transceiver; the AT-130 adjusts the antenna and the transceiver to the minimum SWR in any frequency on an HF marine band. The AT-130 allows you to transmit with strong RF output power, and is perfect for maritime mobile operations.
Weather resistant
The AT-130 is housed in a durable, completely weather-resistant acrylic case with rubber gaskets. This allows it to be conveniently installed near the antenna element base.

ICOM's sophisticated AT-130 easily matches Icom HF marine transceivers. The AT-130 easily interconnects with an Icom HF marine transceiver. AT-130 installation is simple. No adjustments are necessary. Just connect the control cable and antenna wire and go!
Quick tune-up
Improved tuning performance...the tune-up time is less than 3 seconds in any frequency on an HF marine band. In addition, the AT-130 has 8 convenient memories to store tuning information. Retuning for a memorized frequency takes about 1.5 seconds. This allows you quick trouble-free frequency changes.
Low power tune-up
The AT-130 emits very little output power (just 300 mW) during the tuning process. This reduces the possibility of causing interference to other stations using the frequency.
